Getting Started

Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. You can create a free account and start using Aftersales Helpdesk immediately without entering any payment details. We only ask for payment information if you choose to upgrade to a paid plan.
How long does it take to set up?
Most customers have their helpdesk live within 5 minutes. Sign up, add your logo, create a few articles, and you're ready to share with customers. No technical knowledge required.
Can I import articles from another platform?
We don't currently have an automated import tool, but we're happy to help you migrate your content manually. Contact us and we'll work with you to get your articles moved over.

Pricing & Billing

Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. You can downgrade or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your helpdesk will remain active until the end of your billing period.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
We'll notify you before you hit any limits. On the Free plan, you can have up to 25 articles. If you need more, simply upgrade to Pro for unlimited articles. We never delete your content.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If you're not satisfied within the first 14 days of a paid subscription, contact us for a full refund. No questions asked.
Is there a discount for annual billing?
Yes. Pay annually and get 2 months free (equivalent to ~17% discount). You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time.

Features & Customisation

Can I use my own custom domain?
Yes. On our Pro and Enterprise plans, you can connect your own domain (e.g., help.yourcompany.com). We handle the SSL certificate automatically. Setup takes about 5 minutes.
How many languages are supported?
We currently support English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Dutch. We automatically detect your visitor's browser language and show content in their preferred language when available.
Can I customise the look and feel?
Yes. You can upload your own logo, set your brand colours, customise the hero text, and more. On paid plans, you can also remove our branding entirely.
Do you have an API?
Not yet, but it's on our roadmap. If API access is important for your use case, let us know and we'll keep you updated on progress.

Security & Privacy

Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We use industry-standard security practices and our infrastructure is hosted on secure, SOC 2 compliant providers.
Are you GDPR compliant?
Yes. We are fully GDPR compliant. We only collect data necessary to provide the service, and you maintain full ownership of your content. You can export or delete your data at any time.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored in secure data centers in the EU and US, depending on your preference. We use automated daily backups with 30-day retention.
Who can access my helpdesk admin?
Only users you explicitly invite. You have full control over team access with role-based permissions (Owner, Admin, Agent). You can revoke access at any time.

Support

What support do you offer?
All plans include email support. Pro plans get priority response within 24 hours. Enterprise customers receive dedicated support with a guaranteed response time SLA.
Do you offer onboarding help?
Yes. We offer free onboarding assistance to help you set up your helpdesk, import content, and configure your branding. Just reach out after signing up.
